We are just three blocks from the plaza and the Taos’ historic
district.
In the early nineteen twenties, Mabel Dodge Luhan migrated from
New York and built a large quaint adobe home, surrounding it with
seven guest houses. She attracted such art luminaries such as Georgia
O’Keeffe, D.H. Lawrence, composer Leopold Stokowsky and painter
Marsden Hartley to stay and create their art.
We are on the three acres adjacent to that historic estate. |
